| WWII Nominal Roll Sportsmen of Changi P154 Description of Frank’s role in the game: “Former Riverina player Sergeant Ernest William McGrath was the best goal kicker, scoring six for the match. His three quick goals in the final quarter sealed the match for Victoria. McGrath, aged 33 and 182cm (6ft) tall, hailed from Whitton near Wagga Wagga, and was in the 2/19th Battalion. He had enlisted at Wagga Wagga together with his older brother, Corporal Thomas Oswald McGrath, on the same day: 26 June 1940.
