Haig Follower of Mordialloc trying out for Coburg. Was this Jack? Not mentioned on the VFA players list Sportsmen of Changi Page 154 Haig, a former Victorian Football Association player for Coburg Jack was a mate of my fathers and was a senior Policeman / Detective in Victoria Police when I joined Victoria Police in 1973! Ancestry: When John Thomas Haig was born on 13 April 1916 in Geelong, Victoria, his father, Thomas, was 46 and his mother, Margaret, was 39. He married Irene Grace DeVaux in 1946 in Victoria. They had one child during their marriage. He died on 29 May 1995 in Melbourne, Victoria, at the age of 79, and was buried in Templestowe, Victoria. |
