In 1939 and 1943 Electoral rolls, Smith was working as a butcher residing Canning Highway, East Fremantle which fits with the East Fremantle mentioned in the team list. There is an E. Smith who played five games for East Fremantle in 1935 but have not been able to identify first name nor link to John Smith . |
