| WWII Nominal Roll Wilfred Smallhorn was one of the key organisers of the Changi football competition, he proposed the Changi Brownlow award and umpired many matches. He was umpire for the Victoria versus the Rest of Australia game despite suffering significant illness. After the game was over he was admitted to the camp hospital and had his appendix removed!
